01about these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the IDC,U? mobile application ("App") and any related services provided by IDC,U? ("we," "us," or "our").
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
02eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use IDC,U?. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account if we have reason to believe a user is under 18.
03your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
You agree to: - Provide accurate information when creating your account - Not share your login credentials with anyone else - Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account - Use only one account per person
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
04use of the app
IDC,U? is a date discovery platform for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the App to browse venues, create date plans, schedule dates, and share plans with others.
You agree NOT to: - Use the App for any unlawful purpose - Harass, abuse, or harm other users - Post false, misleading, or offensive content - Attempt to access, scrape, or copy data from the App by automated means - Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the App - Use the App to infringe on any intellectual property rights - Impersonate any person or entity - Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
05user-generated content
When you create date plans, collections, or other content within the App ("User Content"), you retain ownership of that content. By submitting User Content, you grant IDC,U? a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.
You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
06venue and recommendation data
IDC,U? provides venue recommendations and vibe classifications based on data from third-party sources including Google Places and Yelp. We do not own or operate any of the venues listed in the App and make no guarantees about their accuracy, availability, quality, or suitability.
Venue details, opening hours, and prices may change. Always verify information directly with the venue before making plans.
07ai-generated content
Some content in the App - including date plan descriptions and vibe summaries - is generated by AI. While we work to ensure this content is helpful and accurate, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. It should not be relied upon as professional advice.
08third-party services
The App integrates with third-party services including Google Maps, Yelp, and OpenAI. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
Note: Google Places API usage within the App may incur costs that are the responsibility of the account holder where applicable.
09intellectual property
All content, design, code, trademarks, and branding within IDC,U? - other than User Content - are the property of IDC,U? or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.
10disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY DATE PLAN, VENUE RECOMMENDATION, OR AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR RESULT IN A SATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE.
11limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IDC,U? SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IDC,U? and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the App.
14changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via the App or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County, New York.
